Collections: From Start to Finish - In-Person

When:  Feb 20, 2025 from 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM (MT)
There’s a reason that your malpractice provider requests special notice if you start to dabble in collections. It’s difficult work, and it’s easy for an under-trained attorney to inadvertently violate one of the myriad laws that protects debtors. In this program, we will provide a solid update on the collections practice, including details on bankruptcy, consumer protection laws, a how-to on evictions practice, and pointers from a judge on how to bring state court actions to collect debts.

CBA-CLE will email webinar access information 24-48 hours before the program.

Home studies will be available 2-3 weeks following the live program.

CBA-CLE is committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation in its services, programs, and employment. To request an accommodation please contact clereception@cobar.org at least 14 business days in advance.

The program is accredited in Colorado. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee's responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
