Internal investigations of employee complaints have renewed importance under Colorado’s recent Protecting Opportunities and Workers’ Rights Act (POWR) Act amendments to the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA). Participants will learn about the unique workplace harassment standard and affirmative defense available under CADA, as well as best practices for effective internal investigations necessary to invoke the defense. Please join us for an informative session on limiting risk in a developing legal landscape.
