“Tips for Effectively Practicing in Front of Four of Denver’s Newest Judges"

Take advantage of this great opportunity to meet four of Denver’s newest judges, including two Denver District Court and two Denver County Court Judges, and obtain valuable insight into practicing in their courtrooms. This presentation will include useful information for effectively litigating cases in these judges’ courtrooms and discussing their preferences, backgrounds, and other insights that will enable you to represent your clients as effectively as possible while easing these judges’ transition onto the bench during this unique time. This free online session will be led by two Denver District Court Judges: Hon. Nikea Bland and Hon. Darryl F. Shockley; and two Denver County Court Judges: Hon. Michelle Martinez-Thomas and Hon. Tanja E. Wheeler. This presentation, like all of the Courtroom Chats, will occur in a causal “roundtable” format in which attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in a dialogue with the presenters.

Speakers:
Hon. Nikea Bland, Denver District Court Judge
Hon. Michelle Martinez-Thomas, Denver County Court Judge
Hon. Darryl F. Shockley, Denver District Court Judge
