This session will provide an overview of legislation of the 2019 Colorado General Assembly impacting state and local governments, including discussion of policy and legal issues for government lawyers to consider as new laws are being implemented.
 
Speakers:
Meghan Dollar- Legislative and Policy Advocate, Colorado Municipal League.
Meghan Dollar joined the Colorado Municipal League in 2011 as a Legislative Advocate, advocating for municipal interests before the state legislature. Her issues include affordable housing, criminal justice and courts; immigration; public safety; land use; lottery and gaming; historic preservation, and special districts. She also provides training to and education for municipal officials on various topics.
 
Allison Daley- Legislative & Policy Advocate, Colorado Counties, Inc.
Allison Daley has been working as a Legislative & Policy Advocate for Colorado Counties Inc. since August 2016. At CCI, Allison works on Health & Human Services issues in addition to Justice & Public Safety. Prior to CCI, Allison graduated from University of Colorado School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston University.
