Program Description:
 
Paralegals in varying practices will discuss best practices for attorneys to work respectfully and effectively with paralegals and support staff and will offer tips and tricks to ensure your cases run smoothly and efficiently.
 
 
Speaker Bios:
 
Carrie Gordon
Ms. Gordon is a Senior Litigation Paralegal at civil defense litigation firm, Sutton Booker, P.C. She leveraged her education at Fort Lewis and Metro State University into a 30-year paralegal career. She has worked for both plaintiff and defense firms in the fields of personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation.  
 
Shauna Boker
Ms. Boker began her legal career as a ten-year process server for multiple Northern Colorado attorneys before returning to Front Range Community College and obtaining her paralegal degree, with honors. Since college, Ms. Boker has worked in IP at Oppedahl Patent Law Firm, medical malpractice defense at Tiemeier & Stich, and pre-litigation personal injury at the Sawaya Law Firm and Law Office of Darrell S. Elliott, before landing her current litigation position at Falgien Warr & Iyer in January 2020.
