Program Description:

AI is on the tip of everyone’s tongue these days, and its impacts on the legal aspects of the entertainment industry cannot be overstated. Numerous popular generative AI tools, designed to specifically impersonate real humans and to imitate human creativity, provide a very tangible illustration of the legal challenges posed by the technology – and to the legal challenges that users of the technology will be up against. This program will include a discussion of copyright law, rights of privacy and publicity, and labor relations/collective bargaining.
