"Defending against Guardianships and Promoting Least Restrictive Means: A Back to Basics Review"
Brooke Brestel of BrestelBucar, Ltd in Broomfield presents current Colorado law related to guardianship and conservatorship. Ms. Brestel will discuss least restrictive means and alternatives to guardianships, including powers of attorney and supported decision-making agreements. The program will cover the nuts and bolts of how to defend against guardianship and conservator proceedings as well as how to terminate guardianships and conservatorships.
