Please join the Colorado Bar Association’s Tax Section Luncheon this November 10, 2021, for an introduction to executive compensation.
Executive compensation affects both private and public business clients. Given the rising occurrence of private equity finance deals in Colorado, Arlen Brammer’s presentation will provide attendees an introduction of both business-purpose and taxation issues to be mindful of when considering the various executive compensation tools. The compensation tools available include issuance of options, restricted stock, and profits-only interests. And, structuring decisions can trigger tax implications if practitioners lack proper understanding.
