The FTC Abolished Non-Competes: What That Means for Your Clients

Description: The Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) recently promulgated a new rule that effectively abolishes the vast majority of non-compete agreements.  While the rule allows for some limited exceptions, this rule will substantially change how many companies approach their employment agreements.  Diane Hazel will discuss what this means for your companies or clients, how this rule interacts with state law, the potential legal challenges the FTC will face, and other general enforcement priorities in the labor and competition space.
