Take advantage of this great opportunity to obtain valuable information for effectively practicing in the Colorado Court of Appeals in the COVID-19 era. Our speakers will provide insight and advice to help you present the best case possible in this unique time with a particular focus on oral argument strategies. This presentation will be a great opportunity for judges and lawyers alike to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities of presenting in the Court of Appeals, and performing appellate work in general, under COVID-19 restrictions. This free online session will be led by Colorado Court of Appeals Judges Hon Jerry N. Jones and Hon. Christina F. Gomez. This presentation, like all of the Courtroom Chats, will occur in a causal “roundtable” format in which attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in a dialogue with the presenters not only regarding COVID-19 restrictions but on whatever
topics may be of interest.
