This talk will explore recent and upcoming decisions before the Public Utilities Commission that are affecting the way electricity is being generated in Colorado. Topics include: coal plant retirements, decreasing prices of wind and solar energy, increased use of electric vehicles and batteries, and rate schedules that attempt to influence when and how we use electricity in homes and businesses. Learn about the new directions electric utilities are headed and the key PUC cases and statutes that are pushing them in this new direction.
