Speakers:
Abby Dvorkin- Abby Dvorkin is the Chair of the Construction Law Section for the Colorado Bar Association. In her current role, Abby provides contract litigation services for several law firms in Denver. Abby has experience litigating complex business disputes, property issues and construction matters. Abby's construction law experience includes payment disputes, contract negotiations, representing owners and contractors in defect cases and defending design professionals against malpractice claims. Abby has also served in the public sector where she practiced administrative and regulatory law involving building construction and design and the amusement and tramway industries. Abby also mediates a variety of cases.
 
Sara C. Van Deusen, Conflicts & Ethics Counsel- Sara Van Deusen is responsible for WTO's conflicts clearance review and analysis. Prior to joining WTO, she represented the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel in front of the Attorney Regulation Committee, Presiding Disciplinary Judge, Hearing Boards, and the Colorado Supreme Court. Sara represented the office in matters involving character and fitness, admissions, disciplinary proceedings, and client protection fund claims. Before joining OARC, Sara was a shareholder in a law firm and focused her practice on the defense of lawyers in the disciplinary process and admissions to the practice of law.
