Corey Pemberton: Piece by Piece: Center for Visual Art invites viewers to explore a collection of mixed media paintings, blown glass sculpture, and quilted installations that celebrate the ordinary, the marginalized, and the deeply cherished aspects of our lives. Through this unique blend of mediums, L.A.-based artist Corey Pemberton delves into the essence of being and belonging. everyday moments captured on canvas, curving forms of glass, and soft quilted spaces invite viewers to slow down, appreciate the present, and find beauty in one's surroundings. Public gallery viewing ends Oct. 17, 2024.

Colorado Attorneys for the Arts (CAFTA) is the only legal referral program in Colorado focusing on the arts and creative sector. CAFTA's referral service connects qualified artists and performers, cultural organizations, and other creative businesses with attorneys willing to provide pro bono assistance. Matters include copyright, contract, real estate, employment, entity formation, and other legal concerns. CAFTA also offers arts-related legal education and consultation services across the state.
