Brian and David will present an overview of recent developments in non-competition and non-solicitation law in Colorado. The presentation will cover the enforceability of non-competition agreements under C.R.S. § 8-2-113, touching on recent developments regarding trade secrets, the executive & management personnel exception, reasonableness, and “blue penciling.” The presentation will then address practical advice in enforcing non-competition provisions, including injunctive relief, and strategies for settling non-competition, non-solicitation and trade secret disputes.
