Meet Your Presenter
 
Holly R. Shilliday, Esq., is a partner with McCarthy & Holthus, LLP.  She received a B.A. from the University of Denver and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford, a bankruptcy judge in the Central District of California. Ms. Shilliday is a frequent lecturer and author of articles on creditors' rights issues. She serves on the Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit and is a Co-Chair of the Financial Institutions Subcommittee of CBA’s Business Law Section.  Ms. Shilliday is admitted to practice in all courts in Colorado, California, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
 
Peter A. (Alex) Witteveld, Esq., is a staff attorney with Colorado Legal Services in Fort Collins. He has worked at Colorado Legal Services for over eight years representing individuals in various proceedings, including debt collection and public and private housing eviction disputes. Outside of work he likes to play basketball and ride his bike.
