On January 21, 2021, Governor Polis signed the Colorado Uniform Electronic Wills Act into law.  Learn what “is” and “is not” an electronic will in Colorado, and the difference between electronic and paper wills. Become familiar with the procedures accompanying e-will execution. You will receive an overview of Colorado’s remote online notarial act and discover various remote online notary models with an emphasis on the needs of estate planners.  
 
- Colorado is the second state to sign a Uniform Electronic Wills Act into law. Dig into the language of the law!
- Get your online notary provider questions answered (emphasis will be on the needs of estate planners)
- Identify the differences between electronic and paper wills
 
Home study products will be available approximately 2-3 weeks following the date of the live program.

The program will be submitted for CLE accreditation in Colorado. If you need to seek accreditation in another state, please review the process and requirements for that individual state. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee’s responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
