Business attorneys love to see their clients succeed. But are you ready to be there when they fail? This program will show you how to wind down a struggling business, and how to deal with the SBA, lenders, and commercial landlords. Learn how to prepare a principal for lingering personal liability for debts, and ethically navigate conflicts between businesses and their owners. And in a new twist on the business CLE, empower your client to face their own fear and shame, and have hard conversations with employees, customers, and loved ones about their business.

- Develop a clear plan to close a failing business
- Navigate conflicts between business owners and their creditors
- Discover the value of an emotionally aware business law practice

If special accommodations are needed, please contact us at clereception@cobar.org. Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled program.

The program will be submitted for CLE accreditation in Colorado. If you need to seek accreditation in another state, please review the process and requirements for that individual state. CBA-CLE staff can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance, and it is the attendee’s responsibility to complete the accreditation outside of Colorado.
